Upper Mustang Trek- 14 Days is an amazing journey through the worlds’ deepest Kali Gandaki gorge to the forbidden Kingdom of Lo Manthang. Upper Mustang region is the essence of real Tibetan culture and the rare Bon Buddhism is practiced here. You can see locals’ devotion throughout the day in the villages as they roll countess prayer wheels and the beads. Besides the cultural aspect, Mustang region is also home to high altitude ancient caves which date back centuries and where traces of cave life has been discovered.

Trekking in Upper Mustang region is once in a life time opportunity to see the unique Trans Himalayan landscape dominated by high Himalayan peaks. It requires good fitness level to trek in Mustang region as the arid landscape and strong winds makes trekking challenging. Our journey to the last forbidden Kingdom starts after a breathtaking flight between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains to the town of Jomsom. We continue along the bank of Kali Gandaki Valley through the deep gorges, walking around ancient monasteries, high altitude caves, horse caravans and unique settlements not less than oasis.
