Tilicho Lake Trek takes you to the lake at highest altitude in the world, Tilicho (4949m) and over the thrilling Thorung La Pass (5416m). We start this trek on the eastern side of the Annapurna range through the Marsyangdi Valley of Manang District.  We then continue on the Annapurna Circuit trail through lush forests, unique villages, awesome landscape overlooking the flawless views of Annapurna ranges. From Manang we head towards the lake gradually ascending to Tilicho Base Camp and go towards the pristine Tilicho Lake. After soaking up the views of the lake and the surrounding Himalayan peaks, we descend down to Yak Kharka to continue on the circuit trail towards Thorung La Pass. Our trek ends with very scenic views and an adventurous 20 minutes flight to Pokhara from a small airstrip in Jomsom. Tilicho Lake trek offers the site of world’s highest altitude lake, unlimited views of Himalayan peaks, a contrast of landscapes, villages frozen in time, rich culture, rare wildlife, pristine nature and an awesome adventure.
