Langtang Valley Kaynjin Gompa Trek- 9 Days is an off the beaten path experience in  less ventured Langtang area  located North of Kathmandu bordering with Tibet. Despite it being very close to Kathmandu, trails in this trek are relatively quiet and the views of Himalayan peaks are incredible. Due to the devastating earthquake in 2015 some of the villages along the trekking trail were hit hard, but because of their unbeatable hospitality they are open for trekkers again. So if you want to make a difference in locals’ life and support them, then this is the region you can choose for  your trekking holiday in Nepal.

We start off with an adventurous drive on the curvy roads to the small town of Syabrubeshi. We trek along the thundering Bhote Koshi River through lush rhododendron forests, culturally rich Tamang villages and yak pastures all the way up to Kaynjin Gompa. On our rest day in Kaynjin Gompa, we hike up to the view point Kaynjin Ri (4770m) or Tserko Ri (4984m). We will be greeted with great views of the amazing Kaynjin Valley and Himalayan Peaks including Langtang Lirung, Gongchenmpo and many more. Some of the many highlights of trekking in Langtang Valley are the less visited trails, amazing landscape, rich Tamang culture and flawless views of Himalayan peaks.
