Makalu to Everest via Sherpani Col is an extremely challenging trek as we go over 3 high passes: Sherpani Col (6135m), West Col (6146m) and Amphu Laptsa (5850m). This trek is not for the amateur trekkers, but if you are seeking a real adventure in the Himalayas and have some mountaineering skills, then it is ideal trek for you.

We begin our adventure after a scenic flight to a small air strip in Tumlingtar followed by a jeep drive to the village of Num. Initially we will be trekking through terraced farmlands, lush forests, Rai & Sherpa villages frozen in time, alpine landscapes, high altitude yak pastures, glaciers all the way to Makalu Base Camp in the beautiful Makalu Barun Valley. We will then be trekking and climbing through glaciers and ice walls where our climbing team will set fixed ropes for the safety and success of your trip. This trek requires good fitness level, determination and basic mountaineering skills as the conditions are rough due to snow and high altitude. We also have rest days in between so that you can acclimatize well. We will be accompanied by an experienced climbing Sherpa guide and a strong Sherpa team to organize all the logistics for such a challenging trek. At the end of  this trip, the sense of accomplishment will be rewarding having seen the views of Mt Everest, Mt Makalu and other Himalayan peaks, and went through passes over 6000m/19685 ft. This is for sure an adventure of a life time.
